Review Policy

Hello!

I love discovering new books, and I'm open to accepting review copies in exchange for honest reviews from authors and publishers. Please do reach out to me on readingwithumbreon@gmail.com, and I would love to connect and learn more about your books.

The main genres I prefer are:

Fantasy (all sub-genres)
Romance
Mystery / Thriller
Contemporary
Dystopian

Although, I'm open to explore books outside these genres as well.

I always strive to complete the book before the release date, and provide a complete review on my blog (you're already here) and, if possible, on my bookstagram as well. The reviews would include the book details, a spoiler free review, rating (out of five), and any additional section as applicable for the book.

I am also open to participate in blog tours, and to discuss about any other opportunity that you might have for me. Please feel free to connect with me, I promise I don't bite! :P

Rating overview

For the reviews on my blog, I follow the following metric to rate the books I read:

5 stars - This book was an experience I would embark on again and again!
4 stars - This book was really good, but not perfect
3 stars - This book was good, but could be better
2 stars - This book might be for someone else, but not me

I normally don't rate a book lower than 2 stars, as there's a high probability I might have DNF-ed it.
